Day 1) Travelling to Munnar - 4 hours' drive and 130 km distance from Cochin. Elevation of Munnar is 1532 meters from sea level. Munnar is famous for its tea gardens and cool climate. Enroute, your eyes will be treated to wonderful views of waterfalls, spice gardens and valleys.
Day 2) Full-day Munnar sightseeing. Among the major attractions in Munnar are the Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, the Echo Point, the Kundala Lake, top stations and more.
Day 3) Drive to Thekkady and admire the scenic spice gardens and the green landscape. Optional boating on the lake, inside the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, home to many species of wild animals.
Day 4) Drive to Alleppey, also known as the Venice of the East and enjoy the panoramic view of the backwaters and paddy fields with their many birds. Choice of overnight stay on a boathouse or at hotel.
Day 5) Drive to the world famous beaches of Kovalam. In the evening, feel free to enjoy the beaches and the sunset.
Day 6) Travel to Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala and visit the Padmanabha Swamy temple, the Kuthira Maligai palace, the Zoo, Art gallery and more. Evening leisure time at the hotel or shopping before departure.
Day 7) Drop off at the airport/railway station. Return home with wonderful memories from beautiful Kerala.
